Featured Hunter
Shae Stelly - Breaux Bridge, La.
EON was privileged to arrange a hunt for 16 year old Shae Stelly of Beaux Bridge, Louisiana in early November, 2013. He was hosted by the San Tomas Hunting Camp (Freeport-McMoRan, Inc.) on the famous King Ranch in South Texas. Shae has Congenital Muscular Dystrophy, but he didn’t let that stop him from taking this fine 8-pointer. Special thanks to the Buckmasters American Deer Foundation (BADF), Wildgame Innovations, and of course the San Tomas Hunting Camp for making this hunt possible. Congrats Shae on a buck of a lifetime!
Shae is not only a passionate hunter, but an avid sports fan and active member of the Cecilia High School football team. "He shows up everyday. I'm talking in the summertime I have to run him off the field," Cecilia Coach Terry Martin told local news affiliate KATC. "(I tell him) get out of the sun for a little while. On Saturday morning we watch film. He's one of the first ones here." He has been waiting his entire life for the opportunity to score a touchdown and this past season, Shae’s dream came true (See the video links below). Above all, Shae is a remarkable person and an inspiration to his many friends and family.
